Sometimes our Eagle of the Week tasks for K - 5th doesn't match the skills our PK students are learning. But, our PK students are learning a lot and working hard so on those weeks, they get their own recognition.

Yesterday, we had the privilege to honor Ms. Madison Snyder as your Beginning Teacher of Promise for Malpass Corner! 🦅 Ms. Snyder will be recognized at the Teacher of the Year Banquet in May as your school's Beginning Teacher of Promise. She also has the opportunity to go through the process for Beginning Teacher of the Year for Pender County Schools which will be named in May at the Teacher of the Year Banquet. The 1st year teacher that gets this recognition for PCS will move onto the State Level process to be considered for the NCCAT North Carolina Beginning Teacher of the Year! While this is potentially the first step of many, Ms. Snyder, please know that you have accomplished SO many steps already as a Beginning Teacher! This honor is a true testament to the incredible impact you have on your students, your school community. Your passion, hard work, and dedication shine in everything you do! You go above and beyond every day to inspire and challenge your students, helping them grow both academically and personally. Your positive influence is immeasurable and this award is just a small reflection of the huge difference you make in the lives of everyone lucky enough to learn from you. Here's to the well-deserved recognition and all the future students you will continue to inspire! 🌟Congratulations Ms. Snyder!!

Thanks to Ms. Tabitha and Mrs. Havens for sharing their "pets" ... This was a great way for students to make a real life connection to their Wit & Wisdom module in real life! #LearningIsBetterWhenOurTeachersShareTheirPets
