What has our teacher of the year been doing this summer? Shortly after the school year ended, he continues working with students through the art of dance. In June, he was part of a dance recital, including dancing on stage. He even danced with an alien! In July, he was spotted with a former Eagle! In August, we'll see him back at the Eagle's Nest ready for the 24-25 school year!

Eagle Families - the school year may have ended last week, but we're in the Eagle's Nest already setting up for next year! Here is our school supply list for 24-25 and the tools your little Eagle needs to be successful in school. (If you find good deals, please reply on our school FB page.)

Some staff leave the Eagle's Nest because they are moving on to adventures in other locations. We appreciate these SOARing Eagle staff for their hard work in the Eagle's Nest this year, and we wish them well in their new positions! They will be remembered!

Every year, the Eagles Nest sees changes. Students move out of the nest to middle school, new students come into the nest and alas, even SOARing Eagle staff leave the nest. We bid a big sappy-happy farewell to Mr. Larry Younginer and Ms. Candice Dunlap, who are retiring after wonderful years of service in the Eagles Nest. Ms. Ellington attended the retirement banquet when Mr. Larry & Ms. Dunlap were recognized for their service. Mr. Larry & Ms. Dunlap - enjoy your much deserved retirement! You will be missed, but you'll always be a Soaring Eagle!!

Mrs. Ursula's 2nd grade class enjoyed a special visit with newly hatched chicks! The kids were excited to hold the chicks and learn about the incubation and hatching period from their classmate. Thanks for sharing G and his mom!

Students were ushered out of the 23-24 school year with a shark and an Eagle (the Eagle spotting is harder to see but she's there!). Staff and students were all smiles and some tears as we bit farewell to 23-24. Have a GREAT SUMMER!

The picture says it all!

A 3rd grade Eagle's shirt sums up the Math and Reading EOGs this week .... the Eagles in the nest were "crushin' it"!! All that is left to crush is the 5th grade Science EOG next Tuesday. Thank you parents for "crushin'" your part by helping your Eagle be to school on time and having a good night's sleep.
