During this time of year, one of Mrs. Casha's favorite activities is the Icelandic Christmas Eve tradition of Jolabokaflod" or "The Christmas Book Flood" where families snuggle in for the evening reading a book while drinking something warm and eating chocolate. (Tell your kiddos, for this ONE event, Mrs. Casha will allow eating and drinking with books as long as they are very careful!! ) Mrs. Casha wishes everyone to participate in "Jolabokaflod" over the entire winter break. Happy Reading!

Alright MCE Eagle Families!! We dressed them in pajamas today and we're sending them home early! They're ready for a long winter's nap!

We're not blue that we're going home until next year; we're blue and white for a winter wonderland! ( MCE Eagle's Nest Forecast - No Elsa sightings today ... just clear and cold with snatches of blue and white in the hallways).

The Eagle's Nest is not a ghost town! There's no balderdash here! Our ace in the hole in the Eagle's Nest is our students have fun while learning! (Check out those bettermost smiles). Deputys Womble, Hendricks and Boerigter have their buckaroos and buckarettes riding the range and learning the ropes!

Every week, this team sees every K-5 Eagle for Specials. This team knows all the Eagles!! We love supporting our students and teachers!
