Today, our 3rd-grade Eagles had a special visit from Mrs. Cheryl Holt from Central Office as they wrapped up their Arts and Letters module, *Artists Make Art*! 🎨🦅
Mrs. Holt shared her artistic journey, explaining when and how she first became interested in art, where she finds inspiration, and what she enjoys most about her work. Our Eagles were thrilled to learn from a real artist and asked thoughtful, engaging questions about her creative process.

Our 4th grade Eagles took learning beyond the classroom with an unforgettable trip to Kure Beach! From touching fish to exploring aquatic life up close, our students had hands-on experiences that brought their learning to life. They asked great questions, discovered new interests, and made lasting memories along the way. Of course, they also enjoyed some well-deserved fun in the sun!

🍿📢 Popcorn Friday Update! 🦅
Popcorn Friday will be postponed this week due to several grade levels heading out on exciting field trips. We hope our Eagles have an amazing time learning beyond the classroom!
Popcorn Friday will resume on March 27th, and we can’t wait to bring back this favorite treat. Students will have the choice of regular popcorn for $1 or spring popcorn for $2.

🎤✨ What an incredible show at the Nest! 🦅✨
Who knew Malpass had so many talented Eagles! We were beyond thrilled to watch each performance—every act was so well executed and full of heart. Our students worked incredibly hard to prepare and had the courage to shine in front of a packed gym of peers and families.
From start to finish, the energy was amazing, and the talent was undeniable. A huge thank you to Mrs. Barnes for putting together such an awesome show—we appreciate all of your hard work! And we loved seeing some of our staff join in on the fun too!

This engaging experience helped introduce their upcoming Arts & Letters module and sparked excitement for learning. It was a fun, enriching, and interactive way to bring stories to life for our Eagles.
To wrap up Module 3 in Arts & Letters, students worked in cooperative learning groups to create posters about the powerful force of the wind. We love seeing our students collaborate, think creatively, and make connections through hands-on learning experiences! 🦅
