🌱🥕 Third Grade Plant Part Feast! 🍓🌿
This week, our third graders wrapped up their plant science unit with a fun and tasty “Plant Part Feast!” After reviewing the external parts of plants, students explored learning in a whole new way—by sampling stems, fruits, seeds, roots, and leaves (with a little ranch on the side if needed! 😄).
By experiencing plant parts firsthand, students deepened their understanding of how plants and people are connected within the food web. Plus, a healthy snack gave their brains the boost they needed to stay focused and ready to learn!

🐣✨ Hands-On Learning in Mrs. Custer’s Class! ✨🐣
Mrs. Custer’s class is getting an egg-citing opportunity to learn in a whole new way! Students will have 12 eggs in an incubator provided by 4-H, giving them the chance to explore and experience the process of hatching chicks firsthand.
A special thank you to Mrs. Lori for providing the eggs and helping set everything up for our students. Your support is making this meaningful, hands-on learning experience possible!
We can’t wait to watch, learn, and hopefully welcome some new fluffy friends soon! 🐥💛

🌍✨ Our Kindergarten Eagles Are Exploring the World! ✨🌍
Today our Kindergarten students continued their exciting journey through the seven continents! We wrapped up our third book by diving into fun and interesting facts about Africa.
To bring learning to life, students played a fun “Would You Rather” game! Working in pairs, they practiced asking questions using the linking word “or” and explaining their thinking using “because.”
One of their favorite questions was:
👉 Would you rather see elephants in the Sahara Desert or the pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt?
Our young learners are building strong speaking and thinking skills while exploring the world beyond the nest. We are so proud of our curious, thoughtful, and SOARing Eagles! 🦅💛
