This Saturday morning, the MCES PTO, Girl Scout Troop 1108, and 4-H Youth came together to plant beautiful flowers in the flower boxes at Malpass Corner School! 🌼🌿

🦅💙 Today our amazing Eagles soared at the 5K at University of North Carolina Wilmington! Our Girls on the Run and Stride participants gave it their all, showed determination, and represented MCE with pride.

EOG testing continues tomorrow at Malpass Corner Elementary. Our 5th-grade students will take the Science EOG, while 3rd and 4th-grade students will participate in ELA retesting.
Please help your Eagle be prepared for success by:

Today, our Eagles took on a 5K practice—and what a success it was! 🎉 Students pushed themselves, stayed determined, and discovered just how far they can go. 💪
This was amazing preparation for the upcoming 5K with Girls on the Run and STRIDE, and we couldn’t be more proud of their effort and perseverance!

⚾✨ Full Circle Learning at MCE! ✨⚾
Our 4th grade students had an unforgettable, full-circle moment today! After completing their Arts & Letters module and diving into readings about baseball, we brought learning to life in the best way possible 🙌
We were excited to welcome the Heide Trask Senior High School baseball team to campus! 🧢⚾ Students had the chance to head outside, practice their skills, and ask thoughtful questions about the game and being a student-athlete.
We are so thankful for our continued partnership with Heide Trask and Mr. Hudson! 💙💛 A huge THANK YOU to Coach Spivey, Coach Howell, and all of the players who took time out of their day to visit and inspire our Eagles 🦅

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Pender High School seniors back to the halls of Malpass Corner Elementary. For many, it was a meaningful return to where their journey first began.
