HTHS and PHS have challenged each other to a food drive competition! The food drive will take place from 11/7 from 11/17. All collected items will be donated to Pender Christian Services. The school with the most pounds of donations will be named "the best in the west!"


Special Titan Shoutout to some of our student leaders at HTHS: Shelby Groves (11th), Layna Nixon (12th) , Myron McKoy (12th), & Zahid Salas Reynoso (12th). These students, along with several others from PHS, THS,& PECHS, serve as representatives on the PCS Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. Today, they met with Dr.Breedlove and other important district leaders to discuss effective instructional practices from a student's viewpoint. Keep living the DREAM and leading the way, Titans!


November is National Career Development Month! To celebrate, the HTHS CTE Department is hosting a CTE Spirit Week from November 13-17!


Final exams will be here before you know it! Pick up an early dismissal form from the front office and submit it by November 20th!

Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a traditional Hispanic holiday on Nov. 1-2 that honors the lives of lost loved ones.
Special thanks to Mrs. Podolinsky’s ESL class & Mrs. Cromartie’s Creative Writing class for creating an ofrenda (altar) to honor Day of the Dead, an important celebration in many of our students' lives.

PECHS will host Parent Night for all students interested in applying as a Freshman or transfer student. There are 2 sessions - 11/6 at the CFCC Surf City Campus or 11/8 at PECHS from 6:00pm to 7:00pm #ExperienceTheExcellence

Congratulations to the winners of our HTHS library short story contest! The top winner for each grade level was chosen through a school wide vote online. All of the submissions were impressive, and we appreciate your effort!

Mt. Calvary Center for Leadership is hosting a college fair on Nov. 4th. The event brings in area admissions representatives from multiple Colleges and Universities.
Assistance for students applying for financial aid and the FAFSA process will also be provided.
