Good Afternoon Titan Families, Our Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony will still take place tomorrow, May 29, 2025. However, out of an abundance of caution, the Heide Trask High School Graduation has been moved indoors to the Main Gymnasium. Doors will open for families and guests at 8:15am, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 9:00am. Graduates received their allocation of 6 tickets at graduation practice earlier today -- 2 tickets for the floor seating and 4 for seating in the bleachers or overflow areas. All spectators will need a ticket for entry. We look forward to hosting you tomorrow as we celebrate the HTHS Class of 2025.

Families and graduates: As graduations are getting closer, we’re keeping an eye on the weather forecast for later this week. If weather forces any changes in the schedule, each school will announce details right away through phone, email, social media, and school website. As Pender Innovative Learning Academy has an indoor graduation, they're on as scheduled. Thanks for your patience as we work to ensure a safe, memorable celebration for every student.

Exam season can be very stressful. Thankfully, James and Murphy the Therapy Dog from Paws4People visited Titan Town today to help some of our students calm their anxiety and provide them with emotional support! It was such an amazing experience to see our students interact with him. We can’t wait to have James and his other therapy dogs back again!

Let's have a "Flashback Friday" to...yesterday! Members of our 2025 Senior Class walked the halls of their primary schools one last time! As evidenced by the smiles in these pictures, students had an enjoyable time walking familiar halls and seeing old, and new, faces!

Congratulations are in order for another member of Titan Town! Let's celebrate Ms. Alicia Watkins for her recent recognition of being named the Pender County Schools Beginning Teacher of the Month (May)! According to county leaders, Ms. Watkins was chosen for this recognition because she "has such a positive energy in the school and classroom. She has worked extremely hard to build relationships with her students. She has developed an amazing program where students are partnered with Rocky Point Elementary to conduct class visits and tutoring. She makes her physical class environment warm and welcoming, and she always has high expectations for all students and truly believes they can (AND WILL) succeed academically and behaviorally." Honestly, we couldn't agree more! Congrats, Ms. Watkins!
