🍏 Nutrition and Movement in Mrs. Croom’s PE Class at C.F. Pope Elementary! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ This week in PE, we’re wrapping up our discussion on carbohydrates, proteins, and fats and how they affect our bodies! 💡 Our students are putting their knowledge to the test through fun and challenging obstacle courses! 🏅 ✅ Carbohydrates give us the energy to keep moving and powering through activities. ✅ Proteins help us build muscle for balance, jumping, tumbling, and weaving around cones. ✅ Healthy fats fuel our brains, helping us think clearly, make smart decisions when navigating obstacles, and keep us energized longer! Throughout the activity, our students use multiple muscle groups to complete various challenges while developing important social skills.
