disaster relief
Good evening, Pender EMS and Fire are collecting donations to be delivered to our neighbors in Western NC who have suffered from the kind of historic flooding that we know all too well. They are making a delivery this Wednesday. Just as the state mobilized to help us six years ago, we want to mobilize to help now. Pender County Schools will be collecting water, nonperishable food items, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies on Monday and Tuesday of this week and that these items will be delivered to the Pender County EMS and Fire on Tuesday afternoon. Feel free to drop off items at Cape Fear Middle School. Please reach out if you have any questions.

CFMS Grizzlies, There is currently a local internet outage affecting some of our families. We understand that this may be making it difficult for your student(s) to access their remote learning assignments. Please know that we are offering flexibility and grace to all students affected by this outage. Teachers are aware of the situation and will provide additional time for students who are struggling to get online and complete their work. If your family is experiencing issues, please let your child’s teacher know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary accommodations. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the school office.
