Congratulations to Mrs. Strong for being named the PCS Site Coordinator of the Month for both the BTs and Mentors on campus. She leads phenomenal monthly meetings that are important and impactful for our BTs, and she is always so well-prepared and organized.

Thanks to the incredible support from the REC Foundation, we are thrilled to announce the launch of three Vex IQ robotics teams at our school this year! 🎉
Today marked a significant milestone as our teams participated in a Remote Skills Competition, fulfilling one of the requirements of the grant. And let me tell you, they absolutely rocked it! 🚀 Despite being brand new teams, they showed exceptional skill and dedication, with one team even achieving the highest score of the event so far! 🏆
We couldn't be prouder of our students' achievements and the journey they've embarked upon in the world of robotics. 🤩 As we wrap up this school year, we're already looking forward to seeing what incredible feats they'll accomplish next year!
The VEX IQ Robotics Competition, brought to you by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, offers our elementary and middle school students thrilling challenges that enhance their STEM skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. 🤖💡 It's not just about building robots; it's about fostering teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills that will empower our students to become the innovators and problem solvers of tomorrow. 💪

CFM competed at the Wilmington Regional Science Olympiad Tournament held at UNCW. The team did very well and a special congratulations to Abi Pickett and Olivia Seitz for earning a medal in Experimental Design.

Our students had the opportunity to watch a performance by the John Brown Band. This was a great jazz performance for our student to be involved with.

8th grade STEM students visited Cape Fear Community College to participate in a forensics scenario. They investigated a simulated outbreak of illness on a cruise ship to discover the source and solve the problem.
