Mr. Odom will be taking current and former STEM students to the Cherry Point Air Show on Saturday, May 11th. This field trip will cost $30 per a student, and sponsors are available if cost is an issue. Pleas contact Mr. Odom for more information.

8th grade STEM students visited Cape Fear Community College to participate in a forensics scenario. They investigated a simulated outbreak of illness on a cruise ship to discover the source and solve the problem.

Coach D's 7th grade ELA class spent some time sharpening their summarization skills by creating storyboards of two of O'Henry's famous short stories "After 20 Years" and "A Retrieved Reformation.
We would like to celebrate the best counselors in the business. Ms. Bowman and Ms. Miller are valuable to Cape Fear Middle School and definitely make this a great place to work and go to school. Thank you Ms. Bowman and Ms. Miller.

Great things are happening at Cape Fear Middle!!! We are updating our graphics around our school. We are not quite finished. The front doors, cafeteria windows and some lobby doors are getting a fresh look. A big shout out to our PTO in helping support these upgrades. If you want to help support our efforts, we are going to have a Color Run fundraiser in March. Feel free to reach out to our PTO or Mr. Simmons. More info to come.
