Our Spring season is quickly approaching!
Registration is OPEN for the Spring season! Woohoo! 🎉 Let’s bring back that LARGEST team title 🏆 this season! 😁
👟 Both of these incredible programs through the YMCA, not only help participants train for a 5k, but help focus on promoting positive emotional, social, mental and physical development. Our teams get a chance to bond outside of school and discuss their own beliefs around experiences and challenges they may face at this age. It’s just so crucial for kiddos to have an outlet and we are so happy to help provide this opportunity for them here at CFE! ❤️
Below is the current schedule for our Spring GOTR/Stride Program:
1/23-3/1: Registration (online only)
3/21 & 3/23: 1st practices! (Every Tuesday and Thursday following from 2:30-3:30pm at CFE)
5/20: End of Season 5K (UNCW)
-Cost per child is $75.00

2nd Grade is celebrating Black History Month. Students learned about hidden figures, Dorothy Vaughan, Mary Jackson, and Katherine Johnson and their jobs as computers for NASA. They learned what it means to code and worked with a partner to code a route to the moon!

Ms. Smith's 3rd graders engaged in a fun Moon Phases experiment.
Pender County Schools is asking for your input in a survey regarding our school calendars. Your opinions and feedback are important to us as we strive to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
The survey will consist of questions that gauge your preferences and opinions on the pros and cons of each calendar option. Your participation in this survey will help us make a better decision about the implementation of a new school calendar.
