Mrs. Smith's students designed street maps with buildings, roads, and a map key. They wrote directions and used measurement skills previously taught to code mice to travel the routes with accuracy. They had a blast with mapping and coding!

Book Fair Preview Day was filled with lots of excitement, activity and smiling faces.

So much fun! Kindergarten students took a trip around the world. In Mrs. Rogers room, we learned about the Star of David, we talked about Hanukkah and Israel. Students made a tasty Dreidel using a marshmallow, a pretzel stick, and a Hershey Kiss, to top it off.




Our 5th Graders were invited today to UNCW for a Basketball game. What a fun and exciting field trip.

Day 1 was a success. 21st Century kids are working on a Christmas plushy with Ms. Huckaby.
Christmas Around the World Today-
Kindergarten learned that Christmas trees began in Germany and decorated our Christmas tree after talking about traditions in USA that are similar to those in Germany.
