Catching up on some school spirit pictures from last week: Crazy Sock Day and Show Some School Spirit Day.
Kindergarten got to make some pretty incredible real life connections to their Wit & Wisdom core text: Rap a Tap Tap, on Friday! Former student, Stevie Braune, performed one of her tap routines, showed off her tap shoes, and spoke to the students about her years of practicing the art! They then wrapped things up with our very own, Mrs. Taylor, who has also danced for years and even instructed tap herself! She taught the students some basic steps while they put things together to some of the same music as the main character from their story! They then went back to their classrooms to make a pair of tap shoes for themselves! What an AMAZING experience for our students and teachers! 🎶 👞 📖
