Mrs. Taylor is very proud of her Cuban Heritage. In celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, she read Abuelita and I Make Flan to the 4th and 5th graders. The story is about Anita who loves to bake with her abuela, especially when they are using her grandmother’s special recipes for Cuban desserts like flan! She then taught both grades how to play Cuban Dominoes, a universal pastime in Cuba.

Please help support our Hispanic Heritage Event. Please contact Ms. Johnson if you have any questions.
