Thank you so much to the students and parents who shopped and supported our book fair. Extra appreciation to everyone who bought books for teachers through our Teacher Wish List board - these are gifts that teachers & students will enjoy for years to come!
Thank you to the very special team of parent volunteers who helped assist students, run the register, and straighten inventory. Your generous gift of time and effort has brought more knowledge, adventure, humor, mystery and imagination into the lives of our young people!

Book Character Day
Tomorrow is the last day of School Spirit Week and the Book Fair. Let's show everyone that CFES LOVES TO READ - wear CFE shirt, blue or white and show school spirit.
Tomorrow is your last chance to shop at the Book Fair. Hours are 10:00-12:00.

Day 4 of Spirit Week is : GET TIED UP IN READING- wear a hair bow, bowtie, tie or ribbon to show how much you love reading.
Day 3 of School Spirit Week will be: BOOK CHARACTER DAY- dress as their favorite book character and bring that book to class. Can't wait to see all the costumes tomorrow!

Kicking off our School Spirit Week tomorrow with "Looking For A Good Book" Wear glasses or sunglasses.
Mrs. Smith's students designed street maps with buildings, roads, and a map key. They wrote directions and used measurement skills previously taught to code mice to travel the routes with accuracy. They had a blast with mapping and coding!

Book Fair Preview Day was filled with lots of excitement, activity and smiling faces.
So much fun! Kindergarten students took a trip around the world. In Mrs. Rogers room, we learned about the Star of David, we talked about Hanukkah and Israel. Students made a tasty Dreidel using a marshmallow, a pretzel stick, and a Hershey Kiss, to top it off.
