CFE’s PBIS 2nd Quarter Cub Club Celebration
“Do You Want to Build (and Eat) a Snowman?”
We’re excited to share that our next Cub Club Celebration will be held on Friday, December 19th during Encore! Students will celebrate their positive behavior this quarter by creating — and enjoying — their own snowman treats.
We would love your help in making this event a success. If you’re able, please consider sending in the item(s) assigned to your child’s grade level.
Thank you in advance for helping us make this celebration SNOW much fun! ☃️✨

Science Olympiad practice is in full swing!
These students are showing amazing effort and curiosity every step of the way.

Today Mrs. Johnson’s class celebrated the return of our beloved Mrs. Simmons! We also had lots of fun eating Gingerbread cookies. First we completed our
5 senses chart where we recorded what we see, smell, feel, taste and hear. Then we did our first bite chart where students record their name under which part of the gingerbread body they bit first and we tally them up!

Mrs. Lawrence and Ms. Hill’s class dissected squid today and made tons of connections to the Wit and Wisdom text, Giant Squid! 🦑

Today in Mrs. Johnson’s class we decorated a LARGE gingerbread man and somehow he became LOOSE IN THE CLASSROOM! We created “missing” gingerbread man posters and went on a search! Finally we found him hiding behind the door laughing at us all along!!!

Congratulations to all the 1st and 2nd graders who put on a PHENOMENAL concert to kick off our holiday season! Bravo!!

Mrs Robertsons preschool class is on day four of their gingerbread study. Today's experiment and literacy small group included making predictions, writing, comparisons, counting, writing numbers, charting and comparing collected data. This was a great experiment that took place thro

It's concert time! First and Second grade are ready to perform some holiday tunes, Thursday, Dec. 4th in the multi-purpose room! First grade performs at 5:30 PM and Second grade performs at 6:15 PM. Line up 15 minutes before concert time! There will be time between performances for families to enter and exit. Each performance is about 20 minutes.

It was all about gingerbread STEM 🔬 today with Mrs. Johnson’s class!! Our vocabulary words were dissolve, solute, solvent and solution! We watched gingerbread cookies (solute) dissolve when placed in different liquids (solvents). We recorded predictions and final results (solution) as the cookies absorbed and broke down in different ways! It was FUN!

📚💙 Help us celebrate Kenna Arnold, our Million Minute Reader for the month.
