What a way to send our students off before break! A 2nd quarter PBIS celebration paired with Ugly Sweater Day made for the perfect festive finish.

Congratulations to our December students of the month.

Mrs Robertson's class completed their ginger bread study but creating Gingerbread houses with families. They used all the skills learned over the last few weeks (identifying numbers, shapes, fine motor skills, following recipes, step by step process, problem solving with materials, and more!). Thank you to all the families who helped make this possible and all the help building. Such a great turnout.

Pajama Day was the perfect cozy way to keep the fun going! Tomorrow we wrap up our spirit week with Ugly Sweater Day — we can’t wait to see those festive sweaters

Mrs. Johnson class had wonderful experience with families and students creating gingerbread houses! We even had visits from our lovely principals! We hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎁🎄

Ms. Grochan’s and Mrs. Snider’s 4th graders earned 50 PAW Prints, and today they celebrated with a visit from Rocky Point’s own powerlifting champion, Desmond Jordan!
He shared an inspiring message about being respectful and kind, believing in yourself, and never giving up. Our students left feeling motivated and proud!
Huge thanks to Desmond and congrats to our amazing 4th graders!

Mrs. Garvey’s homeroom reached 50 paw prints and had Mrs. Watters as our guest reader! Students enjoyed listening to How The Grinch Stole Christmas while sipping some hot cocoa!

Winter Wonderland day filled the halls with brightness and cheer! Tomorrow is pajama day—get ready for a cozy winter’s nap.

Just a reminder that students will have an early release this Friday.
Dismissal time: 11:30 AM
Please plan accordingly for pickup and afternoon arrangements.

Ms.Hills homeroom earned 50 paw prints and invited Ms. Hamilton to be their guest reader.

Kindergarten had some gingerbread magic happen today!
So much creativity, teamwork, and holiday joy filled the room—sweet memories were definitely made!

Grinch or Elf Day was a hit! Our students and staff did an amazing job showing their holiday spirit today.
Tomorrow is Winter Wonderland Day — we can’t wait to see the sparkle, snowflakes, and cozy winter vibes fill the halls!

In Astronomy Adventures, our 21st Century students explored Earth’s place and motion that cause day, night, and the seasons. They used flashlights to create dinosaur shadows and filters to show that sunlight is made of colors. Students studied the moon’s geography and used “moon balls” to model its phases and eclipses. They also looked at constellations through special viewers and heard cultural stories about them from around the world. Each student made a simple star-sphere to take home.

Let’s make it fun and keep the momentum going while home on break! Help our school reach 10,000 reading minutes for December — every minute counts!

Congratulations Hannah Miller. She is our November Million Minute Reader of the Month.

Were you Team Red or Team Green today?
Tomorrow is Grinch or Elf Day—pick your side and show that holiday spirit!

Mrs Robertsons Pre-K class read a story called Gingerbread man loose in the school. They practiced identifying the story related problem and solutions. After reading the book on Thursday they created their own version of the story. On Friday, they continued the lesson by pre-designing their traps, listing materials, and illustrating how it will work. On Monday, they used the materials, their plans, and designed their own gingerbread trap for display. This steam activity was fun and multi modal.
