West Pender Middle School is proud to recognize Ms. Christoff as the Beginning Teacher of the Year for the 2025–2026 school year. Teaching 6th and 7th grade social studies, she has quickly made a meaningful impact on students, colleagues, and the school community.
In just a short time in the classroom, Ms. Christoff has created an engaging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore history, geography, and culture while developing strong critical thinking skills. Lessons often incorporate discussions, interactive activities, and real-world connections that help bring historical events and global topics to life.
Students in both grade levels have responded enthusiastically to the classroom atmosphere, where curiosity and collaboration are encouraged. By fostering thoughtful conversations about the past and its connections to the present, she helps students gain a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Receiving the Beginning Teacher of the Year award highlights the hard work and dedication shown each day in the classroom. As Ms. Christoff continues her teaching career, there is no doubt she will continue to inspire students and contribute positively to the West Pender community.
