Catch My Breath is Back!: All 6th graders will be participating in a research-based youth e-cigarette prevention program called Catch My Breath at school. This program was developed by health education experts from The University of Texas School of Public Health (UTHealth) in Austin and is designed to help your child make healthy choices and avoid risky behaviors when it comes to e-cigarettes. All 6th grade students have received an opt-out form. If you do not want your student to participate, please fill out that form and return it by Feb 27th. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Nurse Freeman.

School Reassignment Information (2026–2027): In an effort to accommodate family preferences within Pender County Schools, the reassignment request period for the 2026–2027 school year is now open.
Application opens: January 5, 2026
Deadline: February 28, 2026 - That is this Saturday!
Families wishing to enroll their child in a school outside of their designated zone (excluding Pender Early College and Pender Innovative Learning Academy) may apply using the appropriate form:
