Hello Warrior Families, We have several important updates to share this week:
Early Release Day – Monday, October 20 - School will dismiss at 12:00 PM.
NC Check-In Assessments: Beginning this week, our 8th-grade students will participate in the Physical Science NC Check-In on Wednesday, October 22. In addition, all students will take the following upcoming assessments:
Reading NC Check-In: Tuesday, October 28
Math NC Check-In: Tuesday, November 4

In preparation for testing, all 8th grade students are required to bring their Chromebook and charger to school on Monday, October 21.
PCS Month of Awareness: Bullying Prevention: October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. This week’s focus is on understanding the different types of bullying, learning strategies to address it, and knowing how to report concerns. Together, we can create a safer, more supportive school environment.

7th Grade: 93%
8th Grade: 94%

Behavior Referrals: At WPMS, we believe in setting clear expectations and supporting positive choices. Teachers use many strategies to encourage success, but sometimes an administrative referral is needed. Last week’s referral counts were:
6th Grade: 2
7th Grade: 5
8th Grade: 3
