Hello Warrior Families, We wrapped up the week in the best way—with our House Sorting Day! 
Students were excited and proud to become members of their new houses. Hopefully they came home sharing the good news! Our new House System will bring fresh opportunities for building relationships, increasing academic achievement, and strengthening our Warrior community spirit.
Attendance Update: Last week our student attendance was:
6th Grade: 94%
7th Grade: 92%
8th Grade: 93%
We are proud of our Warriors who are showing up ready to learn each day, but we know we can do even better. Strong attendance is the foundation of success—every Warrior, every day! Let’s raise those numbers together this week.
Behavior Referrals: At WPMS, we work hard to keep families informed. Teachers use many strategies to support positive behavior and maintain clear expectations in the classroom. When issues can’t be resolved at the classroom level, a referral is made to administration. Last week, the number of referrals was:
6th Grade: 2
7th Grade: 2
8th Grade: 2
We will continue to partner with families to keep communication open and to help every student learn and grow in a safe, structured environment.
Warrior Athletics This Week
Thursday – Softball is on the road to Topsail Middle School.
Admission is $5—we’d love to see you out cheering on our Warrior athletes!

PTO Meeting – Tuesday, September 16th, 2:40 PM in the WPMS Library.
School Improvement Team Meeting – Tuesday, September 16th, 3:15 PM in the WPMS POWER Studio (open to all).
After School Parent Orientation – Wednesday, September 17th, 4:00–6:00 PM in the WPMS Library.Parents will complete applications and handbooks while staff share program expectations. Signed applications and handbooks are required for students to participate.
