Good evening, Warrior Families!
This is Principal Garza with your Weekly Warrior Update—and the moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Tomorrow, our Warriors step into a brand-new chapter, and every student gets to be the main character in their own story of growth, discovery, and achievement this year.
Doors open at 7:20 AM, and advisory begins at 7:45 AM sharp. The school day wraps up at 3:00 PM, but the adventure doesn’t end there—it continues with every choice, challenge, and opportunity that shapes our Warriors into leaders.
Our incredible teachers and staff have been working hard to set the stage with warm classrooms, engaging lessons, and all the supplies students need to thrive. And here’s some great news: breakfast and lunch remain free for all students!
A few reminders for a smooth first day (and beyond):
School Traffic: All car riders must enter through the first road in front of the cafeteria on the right. Students may not exit cars before 7:20 AM when cafeteria doors open.
Tardies: Students must arrive on time! Any tardy student must be checked in by an adult, and notes must be turned in within three days to be excused.
Cell Phones & Bluetooth Devices: Phones and wireless devices must stay off, out of sight, and off the body during the school day. Students may use the office phone if they need to reach home.
No Check-Outs After 2:30 PM: Families arriving after this time should join the car rider line. Please notify the office so your child knows they’ll be a car rider.
Athletes: Don’t forget to complete all forms (GW Concussion Form, Valid Physical, PCS Emergency Contact & Release Form) and eligibility requirements on BigTeams.
Tomorrow begins a year where every Warrior has the chance to own their story, embrace their main character energy, and shine. We are so proud to walk alongside our students and families in making this school year extraordinary.
