To wrap up the season, the marching pirates traveled to Northside High School on Saturday. They were 1st place in class 5A in Percussion, Music Performance, Visual Performance, Colorguard, Drum Major, and Overall. They scored an overall 91.05, were first runner up for the day, and were just 1 point away from being crowned grand champion.

The bands of Topsail High and Surf City Middle school received $14,702 for instrument acquisition from the Landfall Foundation last night.
Next week (November 14th-18th) is Spirit Week in celebration of National Career Development Month. We would love for all THS students to participate!

Topsail DECA's pumpkin won 2nd place overall in the National DECA Pumpkin Challenge. Our pumpkin won for the most DECA-iest Pumpkin. We are so proud of our students!
The THS PTSO provided a healthy lunch for our teachers today! This is a great way to start off second quarter. Thank you to those volunteers that made this happen today!

The THS Culinary Arts classes went to Mike’s Farm. The hayride included an opportunity to pick a personal “sugar” pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Students have been baking sugar pumpkins in class and incorporating the purée into various recipes for the past few weeks.
