Topsail High School has some exciting news! We will be adding a dance team and would love for any student that has dance experience to come out to the interest meeting! The meeting will take place Thursday, March 30th @ 4:30 pm in the Media Center. We hope to see you then!

Forty-three Topsail High School DECA students attended the state competition, Thursday, February 23 - Saturday, February 25 in Greensboro. Summer Guderian has advanced to the International competition that will be held in Orlando, FL in April. A HUGE thank you to Greg Hoch (Co-Advisor), Siobhan Fargo, Ty Lovette, Bus driver IJ Sidbury and Bevin Stokes for all of their help and support during this trip. A special thank you to Janell Woest, Meredith Drescher and Kara Herbert for their hard work and contributions to our trip. Also, thank you to those parents/guardians that served as chaperones for our field trip.

Congratulations to Liam Courtright on making the Drum Corps International Raiders Drum and Bugle Corp out of Princeton, NJ yesterday! This is a huge accomplishment for a musician and the first from Topsail High School. Drum Corps is considered "marching music's major league". These corps are more advanced than most college ensembles and compete through July and August.

Noah Fell Ranshaw and Ryan Lechmsnick built a bench for our amazing CDC in their Carpentry 2 Class. These students built the bench under Mr. English's guidance and Mrs. Bailey's help with using the CNC machine to personalize the bench!

Congratulations to Ethan Blevins for his third place placement for wrestling at the NCHSAA State Tournament!
