THS Carpentry 1 students spent an amazing day in Burgaw, putting their skills to work on a Habitat for Humanity home! They laid sod, planted shrubs, installed starter strips, and added soffit—making a real difference in the community. Huge shoutout to the Army for stepping in as chaperones and treating our students to lunch! It's so inspiring to see our students using what they've learned to give back. #EnrolledEnlistedEmployed #OnePender

Thanks to the leadership of THS Interim AD - Coach Chris Blake, and our entire Pirates Coaching Staff, our THS Athletics Department has been recognized by the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) as an NFHS Level 1 Honor School!
In order to earn this recognition 100% of our THS Coaches had to earn their NFHS Level 1 National Coach Certifications which required the completion of four (4) Coach / Athletics related professional development continuing education courses. (see below) The NFHS will ship a NFHS Level 1 Honor School banner to our school to proudly display in our Main Gym.
Very Proud of Coach Blake and our THS Coaches for modeling the importance of being Lifelong Learners for our student-athletes in their continued pursuit of our standard of excellence in their craft!
