“Many people don’t realize that school psychologists do much more than testing. We support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being, collaborate with teachers and families to create positive learning environments, and help schools build systems that support all learners.”

Ms. Heckerman has been a school psychologist for 10 years (Four with PCS) and loves "the connections I get to make with students and staff".

5th Graders were honored to host Whitebull of the Nez Perce tribe today. He told stories, sang songs and discussed the history of the tribe. Students were excited to spend the morning with the storyteller featured in our Wit and Wisdom lessons for Module 1!

STEM is a little more fun in Media when our activities are based on spooky Halloween read alouds! 👻 🎃 🖍️

Trunk or Treat was a HUGE success last night! Thank you to all the families who came out for candy, friends, games and books! 👻 🎃 🍬 🕷️

The Scholastic Book Fair SHOP DAYS 📚 start tomorrow (Wednesday). Your child can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar in support of Share the Fair to receive a lollipop! 🍭 All Share the Fair proceeds go straight to making sure ALL Stingrays get to choose at least one book this week 📖 💗

🎃👻 Join us for a fun-filled evening of candy, games, and spooky surprises! Trunk or Treat will be in the STE back parking lot on Oct. 16 from 5pm-7pm (gently used sneakers donation entry), followed by games and a cake walk in the gym. 📚 The Book Fair will be open in the Media Center from 5pm-7pm! 🍴 Grab dinner and dessert from Southern Roots and Hanna’s Hawaiian Ice food trucks. ☮️ Take a break in our sensory classrooms. 💙 Bring cash if you’d like to donate to the PTO. We can’t wait to see you there!
