The Battle of the Books team will meet on Monday. There is not Chess Club on Monday.

Sports Report
- Both teams beat Cape Fear this week, and now the boys are 2-1, and girls are 3-0. Monday will be a home game vs. West Pender, and Thursday will be a home game vs. Penderlea. Wednesday will be an away game at Penderlea. Soccer players should turn in their jerseys to Coach Horner or Coach Batts.

BRICK PAVER FUNDRAISER! SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL & LEAVE YOUR MARK!! >>>>>>>>> Our latest fundraiser is the gift that keeps on giving! Purchase a memorial brick for your student, family, or someone special for $75! These special bricks will be engraved with a name, date, and a shark (optional) and will be used to build a walkway to our athletic fields along with a brick welcome sign! Not only will this make a great gift for 8th-grade students moving up to the high school, but it is a great way for families, businesses, and other supporters to get involved and show their pride in our school! The funds raised will go directly back into school improvement projects with a focus on our outdoor areas and athletic fields. Not only is this a money-maker but the bricks will be used to beautify our school grounds! Be on the lookout for details to purchase soon.
