Pender County Schools reminds families that meal applications from the 2024–2025 school year will expire on October 6, 2025. A new application must be submitted each year in order for students to remain eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
This is for schools which are not a part of the CEP Program (Surf City Middle, Topsail Annandale Elementary, Topsail Middle, Topsail High)
The district provides a short grace period at the beginning of each school year, but that period is coming to a close. Families who do not submit a new application before the deadline risk losing meal benefits for their student(s).

Families are encouraged to complete their application as soon as possible to avoid interruptions in benefits. For questions, please contact your child’s school or the PCS Child Nutrition Department.
