The drivers and monitors that transport our otters daily will be easy to recognize after today!!! We are extremely appreciative that they care for our students as much as we do!! #onepender

Mr Brooks taught the elementary and middle school students an important lesson today on just how much soap water and scrubbing it takes to wash germs off when you are washing your hands!! Thanks Mr Brooks for finding a fun way to teach a valuable lesson!! #onepender

The students on Bus 274 love Mr. Lopez and Ms. Hansley. We are so appreciative of the way they make sure all the otters are able to make it to school every day!! #onepender

Ms Hand and Ms James are well loved by all the otters ... both student and adult!!! We appreciate how they get our students home safely every day!! #onepender

The elementary and middle school otters have been learning how to make simple dishes each week in the cooking class taught by Ms. Mintz. Today they learned how to mold chocolate... just in time for Valentine's Day!! We just LOVE that Ms Mintz is willing to share her culinary talents with her students. #onepender

Bus 323 serves the PILA otters from the Hampstead area. Ms. Lumpkins, Ms. Bannerman and Ms Lewis spend extra time each day making sure their riders on their bus arrive happy and safe. #onepender

The PILA otters are lucky enough to have some of the best bus drivers and monitors in the district!! Ms Walker and Ms Henry on Bus 320 build relationships with every student on their bus. This makes the ride to and from school every day much more enjoyable!! #onepender

Here is another reason why we love our school counselor, Mr Brooks!!! He LOVES to participate in all of the fun activities on campus. He incorporated MATH into his 100 day celebration gear and taught the BEST lesson on personal space today using hoopla hoops!! #onepender

The elementary team had fun on the 100th day !!! They watched a 100 year old cartoon, counted 100 objects, graphed 100 snacks and learned the original recipe for s'mores was released 100 years ago. #onepender

Ms Beveridge spent time in the lower elementary class today reading How to Catch a Snowman. The students loved hearing about her experiences being in an igloo when she was a child in Connecticut. They are all super excited to see some snow!!! #onepender
