This week our SOARING Eagles were recognized for having self control and being able to resist immediate temptations and not acting on impulse in order to achieve the most important goals of learning at school and being kind in the Eagles' nest! Today was our K-2 Super SOARing Eagle Day. (3rd-5th is weather postponed to next Thursday.) The students were running for "Eagle Eggs" filled with Eagle Bucks! Eggs have 1-5 Eagle Bucks inside. Here are a few pictures from Mrs. Sandi Jones' class.
Single acts from MCE's Got Talent show on Tuesday night.
This past Tuesday night, MCE's Got Talent has its annual performance. We had group acts and single acts. Next year, plan to attend for a fun night of Eagle's showing their talent!
Also part of the 5th grade field trip was a trip to Poplar Grove Plantation. (Looks like the 5th graders had a head start on practicing for their Eagle Egg races this Friday...)
Last week the 5th graders took a field trip to Moore's Creek National Battlefield to learn about its importance to our history.
