Ms. Newton's 8th grade classes completed a personality/interest inventory in Major Clarity. The inventory helped them define their, investigative, artistic, social, and enterprising interests. These categories directly relate to high school electives and future careers.

Football tryouts will resume Tuesday and Wednesday at Penderlea School.The reason for this change is to allow our players to begin practicing and playing games on the Penderlea football field. After practice, the bus will pull out from Penderlea at 5:30pm and return to BMS at 5:45pm where BMS parents will pick up their student athlete.
BMS Cheer tryouts will resume Tuesday and Wednesday next week from 2:50 - 4:30pm at Burgaw gymnasium.
BMS Softball tryouts will resume Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Parents of BMS students will pick their kids up from softball practice at 5:30pm.

Due to Hurricane Idalia, all after school activities are canceled both Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31st. PCS buildings will be closed Thursday, August 31st. Printed or electronic remote learning materials will be sent home with students Wednesday afternoon. Students need to return printed materials on Friday to be counted present Thursday.
