We love helping our preschoolers to learn and grow. But where do we draw the line between helping them and enabling them? If we continue to do everything for them, they will never learn to do it themselves.
In our first family meetings at the Public Library, our Family Team shared some materials for families to make daily schedules, chore charts and 3-step direction visuals to use at home with their children. These types of visuals help children see their responsibilities and routines for the day, with a sense of calm knowing what to expect.
