
Principal - Brittany Moore

As an eastern North Carolina native, Ms. Moore could not be more ecstatic to serve the C.F. Pope Elementary students, teachers, and community as Principal. She graduated from Guilford College with a bachelor's degree in English and Education Studies and pursued an opportunity to teach English as Second Language in Hefei, China for a year after graduation. Ms. Moore holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University and is currently enrolled in their doctoral program to obtain a degree in Organizational Leadership.
The love and passion Ms. Moore has for education runs deep, as she comes from a family of educators, and the importance of education was instilled in her at a young age. Her professional experience includes teaching middle grades English Language Arts and being a School Administrator for several years at a PreK-8 elementary school in her hometown.
Ms. Moore considers herself a servant leader who values learning as a process that allows individuals to expand their knowledge and opportunities, personally and professionally. She views education as one of the most important tools to cultivate positive change across the world. Ms. Moore is committed to helping teachers and staff build their leadership capacities to reach their greatest potential to serve children.
It is her focus to ensure that the students at C.F. Pope Elementary are successful academically, socially, and emotionally in order to be productive citizens of our globally competitive society. Ms. Moore looks forward to creating and sustaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet the individual needs of every child.
